Description
Amitabha, the Buddha of Infinite Light and the Guru of Chenrezig, represents overcoming attachment as well as the purification of ordinary discernment, which is transformed into the enlightened wisdom of discrimination.
Hand-painted on cloth by Nepali-Tibetan artists in Kathmandu, Nepal using traditional painting techniques and materials with significant gold accents.
The size of the painting is 6" x 8". With the brocade the thangka measures 13" x 18" approx.
Thangkhas may have minor variations on painting and color details due to individual artist work.
