Chenrezig is the Buddha of Compassion. With 1,000 arms he continuously and compassionately benefits sentient beings in whatever ways are needed. His Holiness the the Dalai Lama is considered a manifestation of the Buddha of Compassion on Earth.

This wonderful thangka was painted by Nepali-Tibetan artisans in Nepal especially for the Foundation Store.

The size of the image is approximately 6" x 8", and with the brocade, approximately 18" x 12".

Thangkhas may have minor variations on painting and color details  due to individual artist work.
