Lama Tsongkhapa, who is a manifestation of Manjushri, the Buddha of wisdom, is the founder of the Tibetan Gelug lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. For the practitioners of that lineage, Tsongkhapa symbolizes the essence of the spiritual teacher.

This wonderful thangka was painted by Nepali-Tibetan artisans in Nepal especially for the Foundation Store and incorporates a very high quality brocade.

The size of the image is approximately 10 x 12 inch (26 x 30 cm) and with the brocade 21 x 30 inch (51 x 79 cm) approximately.
