The Buddha of wisdom, Manjushri wields the sword of wisdom that cuts through the ignorance that keeps us bound to our conditioned existence and holds a copy of the Perfection of Wisdom sutra text. His brilliant orange color signifies the radiance of the sun-like piercing light of wisdom and intelligence that overcomes all delusions and wrong conceptions.
This wonderfull thangka was painted by Nepali-Tibetan artisans in Nepal especially for the Foundation Store and incorporates a very high quality brocade. The size of the image is approx. 10"x12" and with the brochade 21"x30" approx.
Thangkas may have minor variations on painting and color details due to individual artist work.
