The Merit Box project is an incredibly beneficial way to develop generosity and help to fulfill Lama Zopa Rinpoche's wishes by contributing directly to his personal projects. Over the years, Lama Zopa Rinpoche has personally performed most of the fundraising for his various projects. By opening our hearts to generosity and contributing just a small amount each day or week to the Merit Box, we can assist Rinpoche in actualizing his aims of helping all sentient beings.

Since the projects inception in 2001, thousands of Merit Boxes have been distributed by FPMT centers and sent individually to practitioners around the globe.

The Merit Box prayer book has now been translated into 11 languages -

The Merit Box Booklet includes a prayer containing the visualization, motivation, dedication, and prayer and a beautiful donation box to place on your altar. Participants can include the yoga of generosity in their daily practice by carrying out the suggested prayers and visualizations and placing a money offering into the box.
