The
Sera Je Food Fund provides three nutritious meals daily for all 2,600 monks
living at Sera Je Monastery in southern India. This service provides one of the
most fundamental needs for life – food – and allows the monks to focus on their
studies without the burden of sourcing and preparing their own meals.
What will your
donation by used for?
It only costs US$0.11 to offer one meal to one monk at Sera
Je Monastery. 33 cents provides one full day of meals to one monk!
- US$10 will provide three vegetarian meals a day
to one monk for one month
- US$120 will provide three vegetarian meals a day
to one monk for one year
- US$780 will provide three vegetarian meals a day
to all 2,600 monks for one day
Lama Zopa Rinpoche has commented on the benefits of making
offerings to the Sera Je Food Fund:
