FPMT Foundation Store Mission
We provide integrated education through which peoples minds and hearts can be transformed into their highest potential for the benefit of others, inspired by an attitude of universal responsibility. We are committed to creating harmonious environments and helping all beings develop their full potential of infinite wisdom and compassion. Our organization is based on the Buddhist tradition of Lama Tsongkhapa of Tibet as taught to us by our founder Lama Thubten Yeshe and spiritual director Lama Zopa Rinpoche.
FPMT Foundation Stores main motivation is to make the Dharma available to benefit sentient beings. We carefully adhere to the Buddhist principle that profit should not be made from the sale of Dharma.
Proceeds from sales through the Foundation Store are carefully categorized and calculated to ensure that income from Dharma items is used to make more Dharma available and to further the charitable mission and projects of FPMT Inc. We carefully follow Buddhist principles for the use of Dharma income and any payments for salaries or food expenses are excluded when calculating the net Dharma proceeds from the Foundation Store.
Setting up a Wholesale Account
If you are a distributor/retailer or an FPMT center interested in purchasing products for resale, please contact the Foundation Store Manager at shopfpmt@fpmt.org with relevant FPMT Center or distributor/retailer information. Upon verification and approval, you will be requested to register with the Foundation Store website- http://shop.fpmt.org/register.asp?cg=0 . After registering,
e-mail the shop ( shopfpmt@fpmt.org) your selected Username. Please use as user name the e-mail address of your
Center/Study Group/Shop and a password easy to recall.After registering, email your selected Username and Password along with current Billing information to shopfpmt@fpmt.org. We will be happy to then apply wholesale terms to your account.
Order Minimum
In order to receive the wholesale discount, there is a minimum purchase of $200, after the discount is applied. The total after discount must be at least $200.
Shipping Policy
Unless otherwise arranged, all shipping cost incurred will be paid upon checkout at the time o purchase.
All prepaid orders of $5000 or more will shipped free of charge. Please contact the Foundation Store Manager for details: shopfpmt@fpmt.org
Payment Terms
30 to 60 day terms can be arranged upon request and approval after a relationship has been established.
Claims
All claims involving a shipment must be filed within 60 days of receipt of the order.
Discounts
Once the login is entered, the wholesale price is displayed as a saving for each item you select in your shopping cart. Discounted wholesale prices is not displayed in your invoice.
Most FPMT produced education materials receive a 40% discount, most meditation supplies, statues, thangkas, handicrafts, etc. receive a 20% discount and most non-FPMT produced books, CDs and DVDs receive a 10% discount.
Membership discounts cannot be used in conjunction with orders that receive a wholesale discount.
