This practice booklet contains two short prayers to be reborn in Amitabha pure land, Blissful Realm.

The first is a two-line prayer of homage to Tathagata Amitabha and Buddha Amitayus, followed by the mantra of Amitabha Buddha. Lama Zopa Rinpoche said that if we do this prayer every night, like a bird with two wings can easily fly high in the sky, we can easily be reborn in Amitabha's pureland. 

A Brief Prayer [to be Reborn in Amitabha Pure Land] is a popular prayer for rebirth in Sukhavati. It came directly from Buddha Amitabha, in a vision of the principal deity and the mandala, to Tulku Mingyur Dorje in the year 1657 when he was just thirteen years old.

Lama Zopa Rinpoche says his mother used to recite these prayers every morning, just like practitioners of highest yoga tantra start the day with Six-Session Guru Yoga.
