An Excellent Stream of Nectar of Immortality: A Long Life Supplication to Khen Rinpoche Geshe Thubten Chonyi was composed by Lama Zopa Rinpoche at the repeated requests of Amitabha Buddhist Centre and individual students of the center.

Khen Rinpoche Geshe Thubten Chonyi is the abbot of Kopan Ogmin Jangchub Choling Monastery and Khachoe Ghakhyil Ling Nunnery, Nepal. He went to Sera Monastery to complete his studies and graduated with the degree of Geshe Lharampa, becoming the first monk from Kopan Monastery to obtain a Geshe degree. He is also serving as the resident teacher at Amitabha Buddhist Centre, Singapore.
