Buddhism in a Nutshell is an introductory course to Buddhism
meant for complete beginners. It offers a general overview of basic Buddhist
philosophy and principles, according to the Tibetan Mahayana tradition of Lama
Tsongkhapa (Gelug), as well as a brief introduction to Buddhist meditation.
This program is presented as
a series of five sessions of approximately two hours each. Each session
contains MP3 audio teachings and guided meditations by Ven. Amy Miller, an American teacher of Tibetan Buddhism known for
her gentle and structured teaching style.

book is highly recommended for those who take this course: Buddhism
in a Nutshell, by Lama Thubten Yeshe, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and Ven. Amy

Buddhism in a Nutshell can either be preceded or followed
