The incisive advice on how a Dharma student can make progress on the path was composed by the eminent teacher, Gungthang Konchog Tenpai Dronme (1762–1823).
Lama Zopa Rinpoche, who requested Kopan Monastery to print and display the advice in Tibetan and English, personally undertook the English translation.
