This audio features Lama Zopa Rinpoche reciting the Milarepa mantra.
Lama Zopa Rinpoche gave the lung of this mantra during a Maitreya puja at Shakyamuni Center, Taiwan, in March 2007.
Rinpoche said: "This has the benefit to liberate from the lower realms, to be born in pure land, and to receive teachings from Milarepa. If you recite it [Milarepa mantra] seven times, you definitely get reborn in the pure land Ngön-ga, Milarepa’s pure land. Then, there you see Milarepa."
The Milarepa mantra is also included in the collection of the Ten Powerful Mantras for the Time of Death.

uninterrupted negative karmas. It prevents rebirth in Avici, the heaviest of
Whoever sees, hears, remembers, or
touches this mantra will be purified of all negativities and gain freedom from
rebirth in the lower realms—from the Ksitigarbha Dasacakra Sutra.
The Lotus Pinnacle of Amoghapasha
