Produced by Amitabha Buddhist Centre in Singapore, the Oral Transmission of the Golden Light Sutra is a continuous audio recording of the complete oral transmission (*lung) of the Golden Light Sutra conferred by Lama Zopa Rinpoche at the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion Bendigo, Australia, September-October 2014.

During the retreat in Australia, Lama Zopa Rinpoche agreed to allow those who listen to a recording of Rinpoche giving the oral transmission to receive the transmission in full. You must listen to the entire sutra in order to receive the full transmission from Lama Zopa Rinpoche. 

The audio features four tracks in Tibetan language. The first is Lama Zopa Rinpoche's transmission of the Golden Light Sutra with full commentary. The remaining  are designed to make only Lama Zopa Rinpoche's transmission of the Golden Light Sutra available without any commentary he gave during the transmission.

*A lung (pronounced “loong”) is the oral transmission of a text, mantra, or practice by an authorized lineage holder. Lama Zopa Rinpoche gave permission to take this transmission online. If you consciously decide to listen to this recording as oral transmissions (lung), then you are able to take it as such.
