The great yogi, the manifestation of Heruka, Je Phabongka, wrote this text as an elaboration on the oral explanation of the Ven. Lama Dharmabhadra. It was written for the practice of Gya Li Han Chu who is possessed with unshakable faith in the teachings of Geythen (Virtuous One) and who single-pointedly practices the gradual paths of sutra and tantra with great enthusiasm. May the work of sentient beings be increased.

This translation was made by Lama Zopa Rinpoche and Ven. Thubten Pemo in August 1978 on the occasion of His Holiness Kyabje Song Rinpoche with great compassion kindly granting Heruka initiation.
