This practice is restricted to those who have received Kalachakra initiation and are doing a daily practice of a six-session guru yoga. By ordering this text, you confirm you have received the appropriate empowerment.
This precious practice combines the self-generation of Kalachakra with guru yoga. The guru yoga has elements from the regular Six-Session Guru Yoga as we know it, that enables one to keep one's tantric vow and the samayas of the five buddhas. It also has the full self-generation of Kalachakra and Vishvamata, along with the eight shaktis, complete with mantra recitation.
This composition originated with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, who for the sake of his own practice, requested Ling Rinpoche to compose a guru yoga based on Kalachakra, and gave advice regarding the "meaning and order of arrangement."
The booklet presents a translation of Ling Rinpoche’s work, A Grove of Wish-Fulfilling Parijata Trees: The Way to Practice Guru Yoga Based on Bhagavan Glorious Kalachakra in Connection with Six-Session Yoga and includes An Extensive Review of the Three Vows as a supplement as well as An Extensive Prayer, a prayer that summarizes the two stages of the path of Kalachakra, composed by Lodro Chokyong Gyatso.
It can be used for one's daily Six-Session Guru Yoga recitation, and for doing a Kalachakra retreat. Translated by Ven. Tenzin Gyurme.
