Commonly known as Legdrima in Tibetan, A Crown Ornament of the Wise is a devotional song by the First Dalai Lama, Gendun Drub. It starts with extensive praise of and prostration to Khadiravani Tara's body, speech, and mind, while describing her various features and their meanings. Tara's activities in protecting and saving, particularly from the outer and inner aspects of the eight terrors, are presented in the form of a request. The song concludes with dedication prayers for the fulfilment of the aims of oneself and others.
