The section on the three conditions according to the Mind-Only School comes from The Ornament of the Seven Valid Cognitions, Dispelling Mental Darkness, composed by Khedrub Je, one of the two main disciples of Lama Tsongkhapa, and the section on direct and indirect realization is based on the same text.

The substantial cause of the eye sense power section comes from the Ornament of Reasoning by the first Dalai Lama, Gyalwa Gedun Drub, as does the main part of the section on fake direct perceptions.
